Children soccer injury prevention program

In children, it is important to know exercises to prevent injuries when playing soccer. FIFA has a manual called Fifa 11+Kids that indicates some preparation exercises for playing soccer.

How good is the program?

According to a post in Sports Medicine, in which kids who pre-warmed up regularly versus the 11+ kids method were followed, they had very different stats.

Children in 11+Kids experienced a lower rate of injury (48% reduction), a lower rate of severe injury (74%) lower number of lower extremity injuries (55% reduction).
